New blog

I have finally managed to move my blogging platform over to Mephisto – still got a few cobwebs to clear, rewrite rules to setup and tweaks to the layouts, but in essence it’s now here.

Unfortunately I’ve had to locate my blog on another host as I couldn’t get Mephisto to work with my current hosting providers even though they support Ruby on Rails. I’m hoping that their support will improve soon and I can switch back.

So, here’s to the wonderful Mephisto – now I just need a plugin community to develop as well as Wordpress’ did and we’re set.

    Looking good Dave! Your Mephisto link doesn’t seem to work. Looks like maybe you got the anchor text and the URL the wrong way round? Still, I’m sure you’ll fix it shortly. I’d like to see the author interface, if you wouldn’t mind letting me take a look round?

    Well spotted on the link there – I’m only just getting to grips with Textile formatting so I had indeed swapped the two values round, should be fixed now.

    I’ll let you have a login so you can have a quick poke around – this offer obviously isn’t available to the general public!

    Hope you enjoy Mephisto! Our plugin system is on it’s way to being beefed up, so we suspect the 3rd party plugins to gain some speed soon.
